Patrick Power
BCL, Solicitor
Patrick Power is from Drumcondra, Dublin. He obtained a Law Degree (BCL) at UCD (1987-1990) and having completed his solicitor’s apprenticeship through the Incorporated Law Society at Blackhall Place, practiced as a Solicitor with Ivor Fitzpatrick & Co, 1993 – 1995.
Patrick Power was then a partner in Bernard L. Gaughran & Co, Malahide, Co. Dublin working in general practice with that firm until July 2020.
Patrick Power has extensive experience in dealing with Personal Injuries Claims, through the Courts and through the Personal Injuries Assessment Board. He has practiced in the areas of Medical Negligence and Occupational and Work Place Injuries as well as General Litigation including Commercial Disputes and Mediation, Planning Litigation and Road Traffic Accidents. Patrick has also extensive experience in the area of Family Law, Judicial Separation and Divorce.
Patrick Power has appeared in all Courts in Ireland including the Supreme Court, High Court, Circuit Court and Circuit Family Court and District Court as well as many Tribunals.
In addition to expertise in Litigation, Patrick has also long experience in Property and Conveyancing Transactions including Residential and Commercial Sale and Purchases, Mortgages and Commercial Leases acting for landlords and tenants as well as Probate / Wills.
